Counselling for Life's Challenges
I offer person-centred and integrative counselling for adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and life difficulties. You may be struggling with something that has happened recently, carrying the impact of experiences from the past, or simply feeling that something in your life doesn't feel right.
You don't need to have a diagnosis or know exactly what is wrong to seek counselling. We can begin with whatever feels most important to you and explore what you're experiencing at a pace that feels right for you.

People come to counselling for many different reasons, and you may not see your experience neatly reflected in a list. The following are some of the areas I can support you with:
How I Can Help
Anxiety, Stress & Emotional Overwhelm
You may be experiencing persistent worry, feeling constantly on edge, struggling to switch off or finding that everyday life feels overwhelming. Sometimes it can be difficult to understand why you feel this way, particularly when things may appear fine from the outside.
Counselling can provide an opportunity to explore what you're experiencing, understand the thoughts, feelings and patterns involved, and develop a greater awareness of what you need.
Depression and low mood can affect how you feel about yourself, your relationships and your everyday life. You may be experiencing low motivation, exhaustion, loss of enjoyment, hopelessness or a sense of feeling disconnected.
Counselling can offer space to explore what you're experiencing without judgement, helping you to make sense of what may be underneath your low mood and what might support you moving forward.
Depression & Low Mood
Trauma isn't always the result of one major or obvious event. Difficult, overwhelming or repeated experiences can have a lasting impact, sometimes without us fully recognising the connection.
I offer trauma-informed counselling for people experiencing the effects of past experiences, including complex trauma and childhood trauma. We can explore what has happened and how it may be affecting you now, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Trauma & Difficult Past Experiences
Our relationships can have a significant impact on how we experience ourselves and the world around us. You may be experiencing difficulties within a current relationship, struggling with trust or connection, or noticing patterns that seem to repeat across your relationships.
Counselling can provide space to explore these experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your needs and the ways your past may influence your relationships in the present.
Relationships & Attachment
You may find yourself constantly questioning yourself, comparing yourself to others, putting pressure on yourself or feeling that you're never quite good enough.
Counselling can help you explore the experiences and beliefs that have shaped how you see yourself, while developing a more compassionate and accepting relationship with yourself.
Self-Esteem & Self-Criticism
Grief and loss can take many forms. You may be coping with the death of someone important, the end of a relationship, a significant change in your circumstances or the loss of something that mattered deeply to you.
Counselling can give you space to process what has happened and explore how you're adjusting to life as it is now.
Grief, Loss & Life Changes
Stress, Burnout & Feeling Overwhelmed
When the demands of work, family or everyday life become too much, you may find yourself feeling exhausted, irritable, disconnected or unable to switch off.
Counselling can offer an opportunity to pause, understand what is happening and explore what you need to restore a greater sense of balance.
Neurodivergence
I work with people who are exploring or living with neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism. You may be exploring your neurodivergence for the first time, trying to understand yourself differently, or experiencing difficulties with overwhelm, relationships, self-esteem or navigating everyday life.
My approach is accepting and individual, with space to explore your experiences without judgement or assumptions about what you should be able to do.
You don't need to arrive at counselling with a diagnosis, a clear explanation or a specific goal. You may simply know that you're struggling, that something doesn't feel right, or that you'd like to understand yourself better.
We can begin wherever you are and explore what feels important to you. Your experience doesn't need to fit neatly into a category for it to be worth exploring.
You Don't Have to Know Exactly What's Wrong

I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, with sessions available weekly or fortnightly. The length and focus of our work can remain flexible as your needs evolve.
Online counselling can offer the flexibility of attending sessions from your own home or another private, appropriate space, without the need to travel. I will send you a secure link before each online session, which you can access using a phone, tablet or computer.
